Online - Home, I'm Darling

Whether are seeing it live and want to watch it again, or whether you can't make it to Bolton to see the show in person - we don’t want you to miss out, so we have a filmed version of Home, I'm Darling available for you to view from the comfort of your own home.

“The staging is brilliant, the acting first class and the play rich.”
The Yorkshire Post

Judy and Johnny seem to be the perfect couple – quite sickeningly happy, in fact. Sweet peas in the garden; homemade lemon curd in the kitchen; marital bliss in the bedroom.

But is their happily married life everything it seems? What happens when things begin to unravel; after all, the perfection of a 1950s domestic goddess is difficult to live up to in a 21st century world.

Discover how nostalgia ain’t what it used to be in Laura Wade’s brilliantly funny Olivier Award winning comedy.

Director of Photography, Daniel Abell, says:

“One of the key things for me is that I didn’t want to produce a ‘film’ – it’s a capture of a live theatre performance. We want you to see the audience, to feel like you’re sitting there. We’re trying to give you the best seat in the house!”

Home I'm Darling was recorded in front of a live socially distanced audience at Stephen Joseph Theatre Scarborough. Once you have paid for your ticket you can chose to watch the show at anytime between Mon 6 September - Sat 2 October. You will have access to the show for 2 days once you press play - so you can watch at your leisure!
